Recently I’ve taken an interest in creating custom pieces of furniture and fine woodworking details. Using combinations of metal, wood, marble and granite creates sleak modern pieces of furniture that fit perfectly in a modern home

Below are some examples of recently created pieces.

A large dining room table with a rectangular tube base was created for a modern open setting of a model home.

The top is made from locally harvested oak that was dried in our shop and milled to create a wonderfull slab for this table

For this powder room a piece of locally milled hard maple with a life edge was used. The piece was cut at a point where a branch was coming out of the tree, creating a beautiful visual effect.

The slab was cut to fit perfectly in the alcove and was finish with a clear tung oil based finish.

This large coffee table was created by four seperate sections of 32″ x32″ . The base of the sections is made of small tubular metalthat are welded together in such a way the marble top drops right in
